ABOUT THE BRIGHTSIDES
The Brightsides are one of Ireland's busiest bands around, from weddings to college balls, pubs & clubs & private functions. We pride ourselves on being extremely professional. Members of the Brightsides have toured extensively with various bands throughout Europe and America. Playing venues such as the House of Blues Las Vegas & Cleveland, the Fillmore in San Francisco and Detroit, The Club Nokia in Los Angeles, The MTV Awards in Belfast, Electric Picnic festival, Indiependence festival and other clubs & festivals in Germany, Spain & the UK just to name a few. We have extensive knowledge and experience performing weddings all over the country, small and large. We always get the dancefloor packed.
Want to have music all day? We can cover it, from pre-dinner drinks reception music (contemporary acoustic and funky covers), to the cool floor fillers after dinner, followed by our full DJ service. See our price guide for our different options.
If you come and see us live you will notice we play a lot of indie pop and modern chart music, but we also do all the old party favourites, rock ‘n’ roll, waltzes, quicksteps, jives, swing, 80's and 90's to keep all ages happy and on the dance floor. Booking our professional DJ service will make sure the party never stops!

The Brightsides Evening Band
The Brightsides are the biggest sounding 4-piece band you’ll ever hear! Our rough working budget is between 2000 - 2400 depending on what services you require. We will provide an evening’s entertainment with sound system, backing music before & during the break as standard.
The band will play 2 x 60 minute sets which include a short break to suit the requirements of the venue and the event. We recommend a 1-hour set, 20-minute break, another 1 hour set, followed by our DJ service. This is just ‘recommendation’ we are always very flexible to your needs, and anything can be customized to your plan.
COCKTAIL RECEPTION
We always recommend having some form of entertainment during the reception drinks. Even a small amount of background entertainment really sets the tone for the evening and creates a fabulous warm ambiance leading up to the dinner. The Brightsides do a ‘Live Lounge’ style acoustic set for €650
CEREMONY MUSIC
Whether you're looking for a classic wedding set list or something a little more alternative, we have a few different options to suit many different tastes and styles. Choose between a female or male vocalist with guitar or keys. We have options to cover all genres of music, be it classic, traditional, modern or alternative. Make sure your ceremony is personal and special!
SET TIMES
The band will play for 2½ hours which can include a short break to suit the requirements of the venue and the event. We recommend a 1-hour set, 30-minute break, another set 1 hour long, followed by our DJ service. This is just ‘recommendation’ we are always very flexible to your needs, and anything can be customized to your plan. The bands will provide an evening’s entertainment and backing music before and during the break.

EQUIPMENT
We treat every gig as Whembly! We turn up with all our equipment every time, no matter what type of event. A professional sound engineer is there making sure it’s not too loud or quiet, always just right! Every show is a big show!
PRICING & PACKAGES
The Brightsides are the most competitively priced wedding band in Ireland. Guaranteed. No other wedding band in the same quality bracket can provided what we do for the price. We are much less expensive than many other bands because we are self-managed by our own management agency, Partybands Ireland. www.partybands.ie (If The Brightsides are not available please have a look at some of or other great acts.)
Our price is determined on location, how many musicians you’d like and services you require. A normal working budget for us would usually be from €2,000 to €2,400. A full list of prices and packages are detailed in the booking form below.
DJ SERVICE
We provide top quality professional DJ’s! Not just someone from the band playing a pre-made playlist from their. This is the end of your big night, we always advise to go out with a bang! There will be no loss of time spent changing over sound and lighting equipment during the event, our DJ will be set up and ready to kick off the minute the band stops to ensure that your dance floor stays full! Our DJs are some of the best in the business with years of experience on the wedding and club circuit. They will work with the dance floor and have the place rocking. Pick the songs you want to hear, a popular option is to send us your favourite tunes on a Spotify playlist, our DJ can work his magic from there. If you are booking the band we really recommend booking our DJ package as well to keep stresses down knowing that we will be ready switch over with our DJ straight after the band finishes and to end the night on a high.
SELFIE MIRROR & LIGHT-UP DANCE FLOOR
Add a little more fun and sparkle to your big day.
The Magic Mirror is a revolution in photo booth entertainment! It’s all about capturing candid, real, weird and wonderful moments from your wedding – all through the eyes of your Magic Mirror.
A similar concept to the traditional photo booth, where people have photos taken at events, choosing to use props or not, and get a fun memento photo of the party … but the Magic Selfie Mirror is a photo booth with bells on!
More interactive and with lots of new features and benefits, it will really help your party stand out from the rest, encouraging fun and laughter along the way.

Your dance floor can be the single largest and most central focal point of your event. So why not enhance where the most important pictures are often taken, the greatest joys are shared, and some of the most memorable moments are created.
BOOKING THE BRIGHTSIDES
The Brightsides are extremely busy and dates fill up fast. We would normally recommend booking 18 – 24 months in advance. We would be delighted to help you secure your date. A price breakdown on services is listed below. Get in touch via email to start booking. A booking fee of 20% will secure that all-important date for you. We work on a first come first served basis and cannot hold dates. Dates are only secured when deposit and booking forms are confirmed. If you are looking to confirm a date please get in touch and make sure your date is free before booking.
